From School Counseling!
Interim Date and end of 1st quarter
The mid 9 weeks point or interim date for quarter 1 will be 10/3/22. It is a good time to check Parent/StudentVue to see your students progress. Please contact the teacher directly with questions and concerns. As we move into the coming weeks students are still adjusting to the workflow. One or two lower than usual grades does not mean it is time to drop a course. Please work with the teacher on your student’s strengths and weaknesses. We are finding many students are using their study hall time wisely to get extra help. Please note the “Myth” that college see all the grades is not true. The high school transcript only reflects the final grades students earn in each course.
With the last Day of Marking Period 1 as Thursday 10/28/22 please review what your students has ahead both in their school calendar and other activities. The Fall can be a very busy time for our students.
