Principal's Message - Welcome Back
Welcome back to a new school year. Like many things around Maple Grove this year, I am new. While I am new to Greenfield, I am not new to education or the role of principal. I have been an administrator for 18 years. For the last 11 years, I worked in Grafton, Wisconsin and previously worked in Waukesha and Lake Geneva. Prior to becoming a principal, I taught for 10 years. I am looking forward to a great school year. During our first week, I met many wonderful students and families. I look forward to spending the year working with our teachers and staff to make sure each student learns and grows.
Have a great year,
Ken McCormick
New Morning Arrival Procedure
This year the doors to Maple Grove will be open at 8:30 AM. All students being dropped off by parents, will enter in the back off of Bottsford. The buses will be moving to the front of the building before school to drop off the bus riders, so it is imperative that you DO NOT drop off your student in the front of the building. Students should enter school quietly using their line basic rules and report directly to their classroom or to the breakfast program. Students arriving at school after 8:30 should report directly to their classroom. Doors will be locked at 8:45. If a student arrives after 8:45 they should report to the office for a late slip before going to class. Please remember that there is no supervision prior to 8:30, so please do not drop off students prior to that time. The YMCA does provide before school care for parents whose schedules don't allow for an 8:30 drop off. Stop by the office to pick up a flyer or visit www.ymcamke.org/schoolage.
