From December 1, 2021, to January 31, 2022, any California student can benefit from free access to thousands of myON books in English and Spanish. Students can also read myON daily news articles in English, Spanish, or French. Content downloaded during the two-month period will be still be available when access the window closes.
Students who are not already reading with myON may participate in this exciting partnership by following these simple steps to log in and start reading:
- Go to www.myon.com and click on “myON login”
- Sign in using the single statewide shared account credentials
- School Name: Gift of Literacy
- Username: myon

Parking Lot Reminders
Here are some reminders to assist us in keeping our students safe in the parking lot:
- Stay in the right hand lane, move all the way forward, and ONLY drop your student off from the right side of the vehicle .
- Do not allow your child to walk unattended between cars.
- Never leave your vehicle unattended in the drive-thru lanes.
- Do not block intersections along Oberlin Avenue while waiting to enter the parking lot.

PFA Announcements
Art Room Donations
The Art Room is a busy place with lots of ideas and creations flowing! That means that some basic supplies are also flowing which is great… but we could use a replenish. If you’d like to support our art program that’s sponsored by our PFA, feel free to check out Mrs. Friedman’s wish list! Things like Sharpies and glue sticks and loose drawing paper are always in need. All supplies in the list benefit all Aspen artists during their monthly art lessons.
