Player of the week ending 10/21 was Kennedy Seeman!

This Friday and Saturday is the All-City Tournament. 8th grade girls play at 7:15 pm at Marsh, and 7th grade play at 8:15 pm at Bidwell. In last week's Durham Tournament, the 8th grade girls took 3rd place in their age bracket. 7th grade took 1st place in their age bracket. Good job girls!

Bidwell's 7th grade basketball team won the Durham Tournament this past weekend and the 8th grade team got 3rd place! Congrats, girls!!

Over 500 Bidwell students danced the night away on Friday, October 28. at our PTA-sponsored Fall Dance. Besides dancing, PTA provided food and drink for sale as well as a complimentary photo booth. There were plenty of parent chaperones on hand and fun was had by all. If you are interested in helping out at future dances contact Bill Battaglia, Activities Director at .

Spirit Week kicked off Monday with Halloween Dress up. Students and staff were encouraged to wear costumes to show their school and holiday spirit, and as always they didn't disappoint. Spirit week will conclude on Friday with a ASB-sponsored Spirit Rally, complete with an art contest and a performance by the Bidwell band. Parents are welcome to attend our rally!

The Turkey Feast will occur at Bidwell on Thursday, November 17. You are invited to attend for a cost of $3.50. The Feast includes: turkey gravy over mashed potatoes with homemade whole wheat roll, fresh green salad, fresh fruit basket, cranberry, pumpkin cookies & milk. Bidwell has two lunch times: 11:22am to 11:58pm for 6th and 7th grade. and 12:16pm to 12:52pm for 8th grade.

As stated in our planners, the general rule is if you cannot buy it at school, you should not bring it to school. This includes energy drinks and soda. If you bring Dutch Bros or similar drinks to school in the morning, remember that they must be disposed of by the time the first bell rings.

BIDWELL’S LOST AND FOUND IS LOCATED IN THE MPR. You are always welcome to come and check for missing items. Items like lunchboxes, coats, hats, jackets, sweatshirts and misplaced PE clothes are generally in the basket. Smaller, more valuable items like cell phones, wallets and jewelry are turned into the main office.
