Week of October 30th
Message from Principal Drew...
Parents we are asking for your help with the completion of two different surveys that will impact the content that your students will learn in the years to come.
First, the State Board of Education policy specifies that the NC Department of Public Instruction will formally collect feedback on the current standards from educators, administrators, parents, students, institutions of higher education, business/industry representatives, and other education agencies. The purpose of this survey is to obtain input from educators and stakeholders familiar with the English Language Arts Standard Course of Study in order to inform revision decisions, which may include changes, clarifications, additions, deletions, or replacements to the current standards. The English Language Arts team requests your thoughtful input and comments on the current academic standards for English Language Arts to inform the review and revision process. Use this link to provide feedback: https://lnks.gd/l/eyJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiJ9.eyJidWxsZXRpbl9saW5rX2lkIjoxMDIsInVyaSI6ImJwMjpjbGljayIsInVybCI6Imh0dHBzOi8vdC5jby9RVnYySHNQZXhkIiwiYnVsbGV0aW5faWQiOiIyMDIzMTAyNi44NDY4MjU0MSJ9.B2W28BTy604HBPjhiWpMkP_yIB-RcUUWBS6HwPMF_o8/s/987585849/br/229061793819-l The surveys will close November 10.
The second survey is for our CTE programs. Every two years Perquimans County Schools Career & Technical Education Program completes a Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment (CLNA). The CLNA is a process used to take an in-depth look into the CTE Programs offered and identify areas where targeted improvements will lead to increased opportunities for students' success. The data and feedback received from this parent survey will be one of many resources that will be evaluated and used as the CLNA team completes this process. Parents, please help support CTE Program Planning and Development by completing the CLNA Parent Survey. You can access the survey with this link https://forms.gle/chGUm3y8LA3UuSqk8
