Make-up ACT Testing
If you missed the ACT test on February 23rd, you will need to plan to take the make-up test on Tuesday, April 13th. Testing will begin promptly at 8:00 AM and you will be allowed to go home when the test is over.
Ms. Dunlap will be emailing all students who are on the list to take the make-up.
Please watch your email for more information or contact Ms. Dunlap if you have questions.
ACT Scores
Good news! ACT scores are being released. Juniors who took the ACT on February 23rd can expect to get their scores in the mail beginning the week of March 15th. Students with new myact.org accounts may not be able to access their scores electronically, but will still receive their scores in the mail. If you have any questions, you can contact Ms. Dunlap at edunlap@lisaacademy.org.
ASVAB Informational Meeting & Testing
If you are looking for ways to pay for college, join us for an informational Zoom call with our National Guard recruiters on Friday, March 19th at 10 AM. Following the meeting, interested students will be able to sign up for the ASVAB test, which will be administered on Tuesday, April 20th.

SLUFY Registration
SLUFY 2021 is designed specifically for gifted and talented students by experts in virtual learning and gifted education.
Summer Laureate University for Youth (SLUFY) is an educational program that provides unique learning experiences for high-ability students to explore and expand their talents and abilities. The program offers a variety of classes taught by a staff that includes graduate students seeking master's degrees in teaching the gifted and talented, certified master teachers, and other experts.
SLUFY presents high-ability K-6 students with a unique, enriching opportunity to learn through hands-on experiences under the guidance of enthusiastic teachers. Students also will get to meet other talented students, forging friendships that last long beyond the summer program.
SLUFY 2021 is designed specifically for gifted and talented students by experts in virtual learning and gifted education.
Registration for summer 2021 is open.
June 21 – 25: Kindergarten; Grades 5 and 6
July 19 – 23: Grades 1 through 4

- Volleyball tryouts will be held on March 16th from 3:15 - 4:30 PM.

FREE parenting workshop
LISA Academy, in collaboration with Life Strategies, will host a FREE parenting workshop through Zoom on Wednesday, March 31st at 6:00 PM. Please join us for a very informative session with Licensed Professional Counselors who plan to share valuable information and resources for effectively parenting strong-willed children. Cap and Gowns
If you ordered and paid for a cap and gown from Jostens the representative will be at the high school, 6711 West Markham, Monday, April 12th, 2021 at 10:00 AM. They will set up outside under the red awning. Only those who have paid in full will be allowed to pick up orders.
