Congratulations, Ashley McGuire and Shaquan Brooks

Senior Honors Night Monday
Senior Honors Night is Monday, May 6th. This ceremony will be held in the East Cafeteria. We begin with light refreshments at 6pm, and the formal ceremony starts at 6:30pm. Students being recognized received invitations through the school. This ceremony, traditionally, is quite memorable as many students will be recognized. We invite and encourage families to attend, but please keep in mind that this ceremony lasts at least an hour, and it can provide a challenge for some small children.
Congratulations to all of our students being recognized.
Have you seen your child's draft schedule?
The last day to submit a schedule change request form will be Friday, May 10.
Ask your child for his/her draft schedule, or email your child's advisor if you need help with getting a copy of your child's draft schedule for next year.
Obligation deadline approaching - detentions ending for the year
We will have ONE Service Saturday on Saturday, May 11, 8am-11am. Students who attend and work the Service Saturday "wipe out" all of their owed detentions at once.
Students are strongly encouraged to take care of their obligations so that they can be removed from our Obligations List. For underclassmen, obligations not met by the end of this school year are rolled over to the next school year; for seniors, obligations must be met prior to graduation week. All teachers have access to the Obligations List daily, and any teacher can give students information about their obligations.
Students with unfulfilled obligations will roll-over to the Obligations List next year. PowerSchool accounts will be disabled over the summer for these students, and students with obligations will not be eligible to participate in any school related activity.
Detention is held daily, Monday-Thursday, 2:45pm-4:30pm, in room 520, through Thursday, May 16th.
Student check-outs limited during May
If your child has an appointment that requires him/her to be checked out early from school, send a note with your child the morning of the check-out - that will help us facilitate this for you. Thank you for understanding and supporting this need.
Chromebooks - new option for students next year
Since RHHS has become a 1:1 school, we have sought ways to enhance our program and the experience for all our students.
Pathway 1 and 2 for our 1:1 program involves RHHS issuing a school-owned chromebook to the student. Pathway 3 allows a student to have his/her personal laptop (approved by the school) to be registered and used by the student.
Beginning this spring, we will add Pathway 4 as an option for our 1:1 program, allowing students to purchase a chromebook from us at a competitive rate. Purchasing a chromebook from us gives ownership to the student, while still allowing students to retain technical support through RHHS. The student will also be able to keep his/her chromebook over the summer instead of turning it in for inventory purposes.
Complete information about this option, Pathway 4, is provided in the links below.

Graduating seniors have asked if they can purchase their currently issued chromebooks. Yes, this option will be made available! Please watch for more information about this when we return from spring break.
Student parking: presale permit applications available soon
Information is coming soon...stay tuned...
