Join the AMS PTO!

Letters are being sent home in Homeroom about our PTO group. They would love to have you join the PTO to support students and teachers at AMS.

You can also volunteer for events that are sponsored by PTO by turning in the volunteer form or filling out the form linked below. Contact Lindsay Newby, PTO President, for more information!

Publix Partners

Publix Partners is turning groceries into education.

Over the years, Publix Partners has donated more than $36 million to over 4,600 schools and organizations.

Participating is easy. Simply sign up for a account, (notice the space after the word com before the word account). In your account profile, select My Publix Partner and select Athens Middle School. Then enter your phone number every time you check out. We'll give back to the school of your choice.

Students still needing MacBooks

If your student did not pick up their MacBook at one of the 2 pickup nights - please read below for information concerning MacBooks.

Any current student needing to request a MacBook will need to see the Librarian - Mrs. Leslie Batts. ( Once a student has visited Mrs. Batts, the parent/guardian will need to come to school to pay the MacBook fee and sign the Parent/Student Device Agreement.

MacBook User Fees are as follows:

Paid Lunch = $50

Sibling in ACS in grades 7-12 = $40

Free/Reduced lunch - $25

Free/Reduced lunch with siblings = no more than $50 per family

You can pay the user fee online also at this link: Pay Fees. Bring your receipt with you to show the librarian when you come to sign the device agreement.

From the Nurse

Remember!! ALL medication (Prescription and Over the Counter) must be brought in by the parent/guardian and signed in by the school nurse. Medication forms must be renewed at the beginning of each year. No medication from the previous year is kept over the summer. If you have any questions, please contact Nurse Kelley.

AHS Band Parent Meeting-September 9th

AHS Band parents will meet Monday, September 9th at 6 PM in the AHS Band room.

Golden Eagle Trek Club

There will be a meeting on September 17th at 6 PM in the AMS Cafeteria for the 8th Grade New York Spring Trip sponsored by the Eagle Trek Club. This is an informational meeting only. If you have already registered you do not need to attend.
