Please Welcome
Dear HR Parents,
Holy Redeemer is pleased to welcome Joeanne Mcrobert, Educational Assistant, and Aaron Holba, Junior High Teacher, to our HR family this week!
These positions were made possible with federal funding that was received by EICS to support our school's class size. We are thankful to EICS for granting this funding to our school to support our students!
As a result, nature kindergarten and our regular kindergarten program will have a full day Educational Assistant in order to support the classroom teacher and the students she serves. Mrs. Twohey is moving from our junior high teaching position to grade three. As well as, our grade three students will be moving to have their own classroom for most of their core courses.
We are extremely excited and pleased for Mrs. Mcrobert and Mr. Holba to join our HR family and team!
Blessings,
Holy Redeemer Administration

New Procedures for Late Arrival and Early Dismissals
Due to our new policies and procedures all doors to the school will remain locked.
Teachers will be at the designated student doors from 8:00 a.m. to 8:10 a.m. All designated student doors will be locked at 8:10 a.m.
The Main Entrance door will be locked at 8:15 a.m.
If your child(ren) will be arriving late, do not go to your designated door as staff will not be available to let them in once they've gone into their classrooms with the other students. Please drop your child(ren) off at the main entrance doors. You can either call the office for entry or ring the doorbell that is located on the wall to the left of the main doors.
If for any reason you need to pick up your child from school during regular school hours, you must remain in your vehicle, call the school office to let us know you've arrived to pick up your child(ren). You will no longer be required to sign your child (ren) in or out as was the previous practice.
As a friendly reminder, to limit potential exposure to COVID-19 and traceability only students and staff are permitted in our school until further notice.
We appreciated your patience and understanding.

Wellness Wednesdays
Academics are a key component of school, but the student experience isn’t solely defined by their education. The wellness team at Holy Redeemer believes that school is about the friends you’ll make, the moments you’ll experience, and the passions you’ll discover.
This year we will be hosting Wellness Wednesdays! These days could an activity, challenge, spirit day, or fundraiser. At Holy Redeemer we want students to build connections with their peers, teachers, school, and community. Wellness Wednesdays will also be a support for mental health and will be designed to promote a balanced lifestyle beyond the academic.
Sometimes the activities will include friendly competitions between the classes. The class that participates the most will be given the School Spirit Trophy to display in their classrooms for the week and will be mentioned on the announcements! We will be keeping score of participation on a bulletin board at the school for students to see.

In this weekend’s Gospel reading, Jesus tells us the parable of the vineyard that was leased out to tenants. When the owners' servants came to collect the pay, the tenants beat them. When the owner sent his son, they killed the son because they thought they would be able to take the vineyard if the son was dead.
This is a story about God's people. For hundreds of years God cared for his people, leaving leaders in charge. But when He sent His son Jesus, the leaders did not respect him. In fact they killed him on the cross! God’s people were like the vineyard and the leaders were like the tenants who killed the son.
In a way, your life is like a vineyard too. God has given it to you and cared for you all of your life. When God wants you to do something for Him, you have the choice of doing what he asks or refusing like the bad tenants. You don’t want to be like those bad tenants. Make sure everything you do is for God.
