SS & ELA - Mrs. Owensby
7th Grade ELA
Students will have a new stems list with a quiz on Friday. We continue our study of punctuation and parts of speech. We will also continue our study of characteristics of fiction.
7th Grade SS
Students will continue their study of the struggles between limited and unlimited governments. They will begin studying revolutions in America, England and France.
Dance - Mrs. Brewington
7th dance focus: Tinikling is complete! We began our weight sharing and counterbalance unit which is inspired by the group Pilobolus. Color Run information was sent home with your child. Voice - Mrs. Fennell
7th grade singers have been learning anatomy as it relates to singing! Next week, we begin to know and understand how the piano keyboard is organized as we begin to learn about sharps, flats and naturals. We will have a quiz on Friday.

Science - Mrs. Sexton
We are finishing up with our biotic factors and interactions in ecology. We may be ready for our next test by the end of the week.
Math - Mr. Smith
7th grade math students are working in chapter 2 and learning how to connected proportional problems to graphs and equations. I am anticipating that we will have a quiz during the early part of next week and our chapter 2 test on Friday next week (September 28th)
Social Studies - Mr. Creswell
We will have a quiz on Tuesday and a test Wednesday this week on limited/unlimited government, English Civil War/ Glorious Revolution.
Science - Mrs. Griffin
The students will analyze and interpret data to predict how changes in the number of organisms of one species affects the balance of an ecosystem. They will also have assignments on both USA Test Prep and Study Island this week for grades. There will be no test this week.
