Pleasanton Primary Vision Statement
A Message from the Principal
We are off to an AWESOME start! We have wonderful staff, our programs are well established, and our students are working extremely hard to reach their academic and social goals. I am very proud of each and every one of them for their hard work and enthusiasm.
Attendance-
We are proud to announce our attendance GOAL for the 21-22 school year is 98%. Students with Perfect Attendance will be recognized at our Green and White Award Ceremony that will be held at the end of the school year.
The State requires that attendance be recorded every school day. In the event that your child is absent from school, the office will need a written excuse the following day. A doctor’s excuse is required when your child is absent over three days and/or for appointments. The entire school day is important to your child’s education.
Security at the Primary-
Students have adjusted great to wearing name badges. The safety and security of our campus is vital. The visitor security system is used daily. All visitors must bring their driver’s license or state issued ID when entering the building. Additional cameras were recently installed at the Primary Campus. Security cameras allow us to monitor entryways, hallways, and campus grounds. The security devices are for the protection and safety of every Primary student and staff member. The Pleasanton School District strives to keep our students safe and is constantly working to improve student safety.
Goal Setting-
Every Primary student is in the process of making reading/math goals for the year. Teachers are counseling every student to assist them with setting their individual goal. Primary students are working extremely hard to reach reading and math goals. Reading and mathematics are vital for each student’s educational success. Students reading above/below their expected level are being worked with; in small groups, with computer interventions, and pull out tutorials.
Thank You-
I would like to close by saying, Thank You for your support in your child’s education. We will make this a wonderful year for students.
