Giving our Time

Student Council members made posters to promote the 5 K Neon Run in October 2015.

Along with some Bridlewood students, they made homemade Christmas cards and took the cards to the Rosewood Assisted Living facility where they also performed some Christmas songs from the 5th grade program. In February the Student Council members collected new socks and made Valentine cards to deliver to Rosewood Assisted Living where they visited with the residents.

Collections for Others

Collected canned goods to give to CCA-Student Council helped promote a contest to help FME contribute canned goods.

2nd grade promoted and built a Book Nook placed in the front of the school for people to take a book to read and leave books as they choose.

Our Fine Arts Team used Field Day to encourage our FME community to collect needed items for Denton County Friends of the Family.

FME collected mittens and socks for CCA.

Fundraising

FME students were able to wear hats, crazy socks, and other clothing items on designated days and including a FunRun contributed money for these organizations:

Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

Pedi-Place

2nd grade made candy grams and sold them. The money went to the North Texas Food Bank.

FME jumped rope and collected money for the American Heart Association

FME staff supported a FME scholarship fund through LEF
