-Explanaton/Reasoning: Maggie is a flat character because, there really isn't much to her. This character is one who you can describe in only one or two words. Maggie is a simple character. This character is known as static becuase she stays the same threw out the story of "Everyday Use", she keeps the same personality traits.

The butter churn exemplifies the way Momma an Maggie live, like how they make a living. They live in something like the old time living. Momma lived threw hard times. They dont live a fashion rich kind of life they live in somethin glike the old times with not much money and using butter churn is something they still used, their old fashion.
