Endeavour School - October the 1st, 2021
A Message From Mrs Campbell
Tēnā koutou, Greetings Everyone,
It is with mixed emotions that I say my final farewells to the Endeavour School community today.
I have had a touching few days with a great staff & BOT farewell event on Wednesday afternoon and a wonderful series of “progressive farewell assemblies’ in each Learning Community on Thursday morning (Covid Level 2 style). I loved receiving the messages from the students about how they view me as an Endeavour Explorer, Thinker & Citizen! Their singing, speeches and performances blew me away.
I’d like to take this opportunity to express some heartfelt thank yous:
To the amazing students of Endeavour school, for all the fun & exciting learning we’ve had together over the past 6 years!
To all the Endeavour parents and caregivers for your support & encouragement, for entrusting me to be a leader of the school and to care for your children
To our outstanding Leadership Team;
- Kylee Edwards has been incredible in her role as Deputy Principal this term, I’m very grateful for all of her support & wisdom.
- Liz Harrison & Debbie Thorpe for all that they do every day for the staff and students as our wonderful Associate Principals of Learning.
- Derek Castle, Amy Harding & Erica Stewart for the great job they perform as mentors and Team Leaders across Endeavour.
To all the incredibly talented teaching staff who truly make Endeavour School such a special place to live and learn
To our phenomenal Admin Team for all the ways that they work on systems and organisation which assist us all to do our jobs for our students & parents
To our fabulous Support Staff/ Teacher Aides whose dedication and care for our kids is greatly appreciated
To Nige, our tireless caretaker & our beautiful cleaners Vanessa & Rosalee who keep our school environment safe and clean
I’m really going to miss everyone.
But… the kids tell me I’m an Endeavour Explorer, I’m excited to be beginning a new chapter in my career as Principal of Newstead School and I’ll carry forward with me all the love, friendships, connections and learning I’ve gained during my 6 years at Endeavour School.
The Endeavour BOT have been working very hard through the process of appointing a new Principal and Deputy Principal. I know whoever they select is a lucky person to be inheriting such a great school! During Term 4 Tony Mangan will be the Caretaker Principal and Debbie Thorpe will be Acting Deputy Principal so you are in great hands.
Thank you everyone!!
Ngā mihi
Meg

What's Been Happening?
See You Soon Mrs Atkinson!
Olivia has worked in the Taupiri Team (Years 5 and 6) for just over two years. She has built strong relationships with many tamariki and their whaanau, as well as with her colleagues.
We will miss having Olivia's strength, commitment and hard working attitude at Endeavour School while she is on maternity leave. We can't wait to have her back with us once her leave has finished.
We also can't wait to meet her little man, and look forward to the visits.
Olivia, from all of us at Endeavour School, best wishes and good luck.
