Most families in Connecticut lives are centered around the farm. Since Connecticut has really good farm land, you can plant a lot of crops. People in Connecticut grow a variety of foods such as corn, pumpkins, beans and squash. The Quinnentukqut River Valley will provide you with rich soil to grow all of your crops. You can also grow different types off berries. Such as: blueberries and strawberries. Over 90 percent of people in Connecticut work on farms, so come join them!
Land and Climate
Not only does Connecticut have good land for farming, they have good land for settlement; and room for new settlers as well. Connecticut had land for everybody; people with high income, to people with low income. For families and people who need a place to settle for cheap with excellent living conditions. Connecticut is the place to be! Connecticut has mild summers, so a good farming season is always going to happen.
Joining Connecticut's Workforce
Connecticut has a variety of different jobs for different people. Even though a huge amount of people in Connecticut work on farms, there is still other jobs to pick from. Jobs where you will get the money you need to help support your family. Most jobs in Connecticut make goods. Europe really needs for them, so sending off the extras is an option for some jobs.
Religion and Government
In Connecticut most settlers are puritans, but they accept other faiths and religions to settle on the land. Connecticut is one of the only colonies that will accept other faiths and religions. Everyone will have freedom in Connecticut, no matter what religion or faith people are. Connecticut does have a written constitution; but aside from that they self-governing; making Connecticut a great place to settle
Connecticut's the Place For You
People are very happy. They have religious freedom, something Britain nor other colonies have. Connecticut is one of the only colonies that offers full religious freedom. While it is predominantly Puritan, other faiths and religions are accepted and welcomed. And, work is in demand. If your outta luck and outta work, come to Connecticut for a job. Connecticut has very good farmland and timber. If your a lumberer,there is profit here. If your a farmer, there is profit here. Connecticut has a wealth of resources which could possibly give you a wealth of your own.
