Medication Pick Up Reminder from Nurse Stephanie

Parents and Caregivers: if your student has any medication or inhalers at school, please arrange pickup by the last day of school. Unfortunately, medications that are not picked up will be discarded per district policy.

Thank you for sharing your students with me this school year! I look forward to seeing everyone’s sweet faces in the fall, but until then, have a wonderful and safe summer! Here’s a few tips for summer safety from Nurse Stephanie:

  • Wear a helmet whenever you are using wheels. Bikes, skates, scooters, 4-wheelers, dirt-bikes, etc, they all count - protect that precious brain!

  • Always swim in safe and approved areas and always where a responsible adult is present

  • Always wear a life jacket while boating

  • Apply sunscreen or wear sun protection clothing even on shady days and don’t forget to reapply sunscreen if you’re sweaty or playing in the water

  • Drink your water

  • And of course: HAVE FUN!!
