A+ Celebration Parade!
Thank you to Mrs. Sherry Holly and the entire planning committee for their time planning and preparing for such an awesome celebration!
Thank you PTSA for your support and for all the time you spent volunteering to make our parade happen!
We need help with our crosswalks. It is a really important volunteer opportunity and we are so thankful to all of the parents that have already stepped up and assisted us this past week in the crosswalk and in the cafeteria!

Hello Families,
This quarter's theme has been, "Am I focusing on solutions instead of problems?"
The motto for this week:
I seek solutions!
Being solution-focused rather than problem-focused is not as easy as it may seem for students, and the challenge lies in the fact that talking about the problem and finding someone or something to blame may feel like problem-solving to students. However, assigning blame doesn't solve problems; solutions do.
I use the terms Problem-sharing and Problem-solving with students because it helps clarify their differences. Below are easy ways to point out these differences to your children:
When we problem-share:
1. We look for blame.
2. We talk about what already happened and complain.
3. We feel stuck and expect adverse outcomes.
When we problem-solve:
1. We look for solutions.
2. We talk about the future and what we can do now to improve things.
3. We feel motivated and expect favorable outcomes.
"Instead of worrying about what you cannot control, shift your energy to what you can create." ― Roy T. Bennett
Problem-sharing can create more problems. Problem-solving can create future leaders!
Have a wonderful week,
Danna Evans
