Mrs. Skogstad's News
4th Grade MOSAIC
The Bakken Museum
Students really enjoyed the entire field trip to the Bakken Museum yesterday. From the bus ride, to the workshop, to lunch, to the visit to Frankenstein's Laboratory, to the museum tour and hands on exhibits. The students really learned a lot about magnetism electricity.
They students enjoyed the hands on learning at Electropolis where they could light up and power the Foshay Tower and learn about circuits by connecting and lighting up a small city. The students also really enjoyed Ben Franklin's Electricity Party and charging a leyden jar battery and zapping the Franklin bells to make them ring continuously. Ask your child about their favorite part! They are busy creating iMovies, keynotes, and pic collages about their activities yesterday. The students even received an electromagnet that they get to take home and create!
