Standards
RI 4.2 Determine the main idea of a text and explain how it is supported by key details; summarize the text.
4.OA.3 Solve multistep word problems posed with whole numbers and having whole-number answers using the four operations, including problems in which remainders must be interpreted. Represent these problems using equations with a letter standing for the unknown quantity. Assess the reasonableness of answers using mental computation and estimation strategies, including rounding.
4.NBT.5 Multiply a whole number of up to four digits by a one-digit whole number, and multiply two two-digit numbers, using strategies based on place value and the properties of operations. Illustrate and explain the calculation by using equations, rectangular arrays, and/or area models
Health~4.PCH.2 Understand body systems and organs, functions, and their care. 4.PCH.2.1 Identify the basic components and functions of the respiratory system. 4.PCH.2.2 Summarize habits to care for the skin. 4.PCH.4.3 Illustrate skills for providing first aid for choking victims (including the Heimlich maneuver).
Reminders
PERMISSION SLIPS AND $- We are headed to JA Biztown on December 5ht. Remember if you are looking to chaperone you must be a registered CMS VOLUNTEER. Spots are filling up fast! Also chaperones will NOT be on the bus with teachers, you are required to arrive at JA BIZTOWN at 8:00 am. (30 minutes before us)

Parents,
Students are on their Chromebooks each day as we have textbooks on our Chromebooks now. Students are required to use earbuds so as not to disrupt their peers. Earbuds can be found at the dollar store. We recommend buying more than one pair because they are used so frequently they can break.
