Beethoven's Early Life

Ludwig Van Beethoven was born on December 17 1770, in Bonn, Germany. Beethoven was born into a large family. Beethoven had a really dear connection with his mother Maria, who unfortunately died when he was young. When Maria and Beethoven's infant sister died his father, Johann Beethoven lost his job shortly after. When Beethoven's father lost his job he had to step up and take more responsibility.

Where Beethoven Traveled

Ludwig Van Beethoven was born in Bonn.When Beethoven was 17 years old he went to Vienna, Austria, there he played the piano for Amadeus Mozart. He was quickly immersed into the life of Europe's music capital. Shortly after arriving, Beethoven had to come back to Germany for his mother's death also his infant died. Then in 1792, he returned to Vienna.

Symphony No.9 4th movement

Symphony No.9 was Beethoven's last symphony and maybe one of his bests.He composed in 1824. Symphony No.9 is also known as " Choral". It included singing from the poem "Ode to Joy" by Friedrich Schiller in 1785. The singing was in the 4th movement, which was the final movement and it was made up a of a chorus and 4 soloists.

Beethoven's Legacy

Ludwig Van Beethoven was one of the greatest composer in the classical era and of all time. Beethoven's Symphony No.9 is one of the most performed symphonies all over the world. Beethoven's music is being played all over the world even 189 years after his death.

Beethoven was very persistent he did not let his deafness get the best of him. Beethoven also was persistent in another way because he always wanted his work to be perfect so he had many drafts of his composition's.
