As we enter into the beautiful season of fall, I am getting excited about all of the wonderful activities that will be coming this school year! With this comes the need for parent volunteers. I would like to start a parent volunteer group that would be willing to come into the school and help out throughout the year. Mrs. Poole has been keeping our sixth grade classes active by having them build a skyscraper out of some various materials. The skyscrapers needed to be a minimum of 14 inches high and had to withstand the table shaking 10 times. What an amazing learning experience for the kids! One of the successful skyscrapers is shown below - congratulations!!!
