Moving Minds- Instruction and Academics
Thursday was the day for meeting with the community. One highlight of those discussions was one regarding Mr. Stanley. When I asked the parent what was going well, they responded that their student really enjoyed Mr. Stanley's class. I said, "What makes your student enjoy that class more than others?" The parent then stated, "She likes Mr. Stanley's class because it is structured and he treats it like a democracy." Voice and choice- this is what adolescent's thrive on! Way to go Mr. Stanley!
Instructional Rounds will begin with all teachers this month. We are excited (The Leadership Team) to be able to give you this time to go and visit other classrooms. IF you know of a classroom that you would like to visit, PLEASE let me know, as I am building that schedule tomorrow.
Moving Bodies- Operations and Logistics
Also, thanks to Mrs. Dean and Mrs. Lilley for stepping up and acting as Administrative support while Mrs. Weatherford and Mrs. Stanley were both out sick. What a blessing to have such fine leaders assisting Mr. Seagroves with School Management.
