Principal's Message
As we start 2022 with the first day of school on Monday, I wanted to first recognize the work of our students and staff to pull off two great events. Amongst the 20 activities, Give Before You Get provided meals and supplies to Lydia Place, 500 letters to first first responders, nearly 100 letters to children in hospitals, schools supplies to kindergarten classes at Sumas Elmentary, caroling, and projects on our campus and local community organizations. It was so great to see our students serving. Friday marked another successful Winter Wishes celebration. While we were not able to gather for an assembly our Leadership Class got creative with a hybrid virtual/live assembly while students were in Homeroom. While it would have been great to be together in the auditorium, our Leadership Class did an amazing job linking all of the activities together.
We finished 2021 on a high note and I hope students will finish this semester strong. As we return to school, I wanted to make sure students and households were aware that we have 13 days of each class remaining before the semester break on Wednesday, January 26th.
With that time remaining, it is really important to be here and get your work done. If you need help on assignments or catching up, get in contact with teachers right away. You can use T3 during the day, schedule a time to meet with teachers before or after-school or use TLC after school.
Stay safe. Stay healthy. Go Trojans.
