Hello, Lighthouse Families,
These spring months are a time of tremendous growth for students. Students have started exploring ideas for their third inquiry of the school year. I have been impressed with not only the growth in learning, but also the confidence and creativity students share when presenting their learning. I look forward to seeing this continue throughout this final trimester.
Spring is also the time of year for a variety of assessments. Our second grade students are finishing up NWEA MAP testing this week. We have ACT testing for our eleventh graders next week, followed by MCA testing. All dates are listed under upcoming events. Please make sure your child gets a good night's sleep and breakfast before testing. These assessments are another data point to help us see what each student understands and what areas of growth we can help support.
Reminders:
● Report cards: Report cards for the end of trimester 2 are posted in Campus Parent Portal. If you have questions or need help, please reach out to your child’s facilitator or our office.
● Extended Learning Day: Tuesday, April 5 is an extended learning day for all students. Only 11th grade students taking the ACT should report to school.
● Yearbook orders: Interested in ordering a yearbook? Yearbook orders are due on April 14, 2022. Order the Lighthouse School yearbook using this link.
With April’s arrival this week, we look forward to warmer days ahead. Have a great week!
With Gratitude,
Lisa Cisewski
