Fall Student Led Conferences
- Thursday, October 11 from 4:00 to 8:00
- Monday, October 15 from 4:00 to 8:00
To schedule your conference time go to https://pickatime.com/client?ven=11601579&event=326306 If you are having trouble scheduling your conference online, call the BMS office at 402-715-6100.
What is the purpose of our student-led conferences? The main purpose of our conferences is to allow your child the time and place to demonstrate his or her learning to you. This is not a time to have a discussion concerning grades. In each of our classrooms, the teachers should have stations set up for your child to show you what they have learned this year. The teachers should be moving through the team classrooms and have brief conversations with you. If you feel there is more time needed for one-to-one interaction with the teacher(s) to discuss classroom performance, please schedule that for another time.
Suicide and Depression Screening
Millard Public Schools facilitates annual lessons about depression and the risk for suicide, including individual student screeners and follow-up, as needed. These lessons will begin at BMS the week of September 10 and will be delivered by the counselors, social worker, and Bulldog Block Teachers; listed below are the dates by grade/team and links to the videos each grade level will be viewing. Please contact your student’s grade level counselor if you would like to opt out your student with this activity or if you have any questions. Thank you.

Football vs. Lewis Central Middle
On September 27, the Beadle Football team traveled to Iowa to face the Lewis Central Titans. The Bulldogs offense made several long drives. On a fourth down play Brandon Fish completed an 11 yard pass to Brigham Young to get a first down. Jacob Meyer gained lots of tough yards between the tackles. The offensive line of Smith, Peacock, Willis, Williamson, Van Duen and Sakalosky blocked well to keep the ball moving. Fish scored a touchdown late in the game on a quarterback sneak. On defense, the Bulldogs gave up some long running plays, but the boys played hard. Josh Humm made a great play when he knocked down a long pass attempt from his Free Safety position. Tyler Griffith played hard and made several tackles from his Linebacker spot. The defense played hard, but in the end the Titans had too much team speed. The Bulldogs lost 28 - 6.
Come cheer on the football team next week when we play Kirn Middle School on Thursday, October 4, at Beadle.

Volleyball vs. Lewis and Clark Middle
The Lady Bulldogs pulled together as a team on again Monday, September 25 in volleyball. Winning 25-22 then losing 25-19 and coming back to win 15-12. It was an amazing display of team work lead by Rory Sinnett. The girls fought until the very end and ever gave up! The B team came out strong winning 25-18 and 27-25. After a HUGE chance to battle back , Megan Hacker and Kennedy Johnson led the girls to a huge victory
Volleyball vs. LaVista Middle
The lady bulldogs headed to LaVista Middle School on Tuesday, September 25 for the last game of the regular season. The A team came out strong winning 25-13 but then had to battle back losing 25-22 and 16-14. The games were well fought with Ali Butler and Mackenzie Smith both having great games. The bulldogs will enter their tournament next Tuesday. The B team struggled to get started, losing the game of their season 25-21 and 25-16. The B team had an amazing season and we can't thank them enough for all of their hard work and dedication.
