1st Graders Receive Book
Our Character Education word of the month was Kindness. During this time our counselors did different activities promoting kindness to our students. In first grade, students read the book “Have You Filled A Bucket Today?” and learned to how to become bucket fillers. Chuck and Amber Lambertz have purchased this book for every first grader to keep! Thank you Lambertz family for your continued support of our schools and for helping spread kindness to our students.
CES Participates in "Ag in the Classroom"
February 24th- 28th is National FFA week. Members of FFA from CHS visited the elementary school on Tuesday to do projects with students as part of “Ag in the Classroom”. First Grade learned about soil and made a snack to show the layers of earth. Second Grade listened to a story and did an activity. Third Grade learned about where different ingredients come from based off of a Pizza. They also learned how grains are made, harvested, and then made into flour or food that we eat. Fourth Grade learned about where milk comes from and then participated in a making butter activity. The students had lots of fun and loved working with the high schoolers.
THANK YOU parents/guardians who attended Parent/Teacher Conferences.

THANK YOU to parents who brought students to sing the National Anthem at the CHS basketball game.
