Orbiting Notes!
We have truly enjoyed having the parents in for our 5th and 6th-grade Open Houses! On Thursday we would like to invite 4th Grade students and parents to our Open House from 6:30 - 7:30. Families with the last name A-N should report to the classroom of the child for the first 30 minutes. Families with the last names M-Z should tour the building and visit the specials for the first 30 minutes. We will switch after 30 minutes. We look forward to seeing you later this week!
Breakfast -
Starting on October 1st we will begin offering a bagged breakfast in the morning for students to purchase. The price will be $1.50 and meal items will include Breakfast Bagels, Muffin Variety, Cereal Variety, milk, juice, and many other choices. Free and reduced rate policies will be followed. Here is a link to the menu. If students would like to purchase breakfast they will need to report immediately to the cafeteria after exiting the bus and we will serve until 7:40. The meal will be served in a convenient grab and go bag and can also be purchased as a snack. We are excited to have this option for students!
School Council -
We have a couple of positions on our school council opening this year and would like to invite any parent who would be interested in joining us to send me an email. The group is comprised of parents, teachers, and administrators and we meet once a month to discuss our school's vision and goals. Please let me know if you are interested.

Yankee Candle Fundraising Blurb for Weekly Newsletter
The Yankee Candle fundraiser is here! Be on the lookout for the fundraising packets in your student's backpack. The sale runs for two weeks: from Wednesday, Sept. 25, through Wednesday, Oct. 9. Orders will be delivered by Thanksgiving, just in time for the holidays. The Mill Pond Parent Group thanks you in advance for your support of this fundraiser, which we anticipate will raise more than $4,000 to directly support educational enrichment programs for our students.
In Full Support of Others
1) As a school, we raised $466.75 for the recovery efforts in the Bahamas! This money will be directly donated to the Red Cross.
2. We have a drive being organized by one of our high school seniors that will be working to collect clean, gently used coats, boots, mittens, and new socks, underwear, and hats. She is working with In Your Shoes Westborough. More information will be upcoming, but please put anything aside that you would like to donate.
3) We are working with the Westborough Veteran's Advisory Board to build some care packages for a deployed Marines Unit out of Fort Devens. Please see the picture below on how you can help.
