While applying for scholarships takes some initiative, research, and time on your part, the payoff is worth it!

AUSTIN COUNTY GO TEXAN SCHOLARSHIP

Deadline: January 14, 2022 by 2:00 PM*

Eligible Applicants: Students must be ranked in the top third 1/3 of their graduating class and have a SAT score of 950 and/or ACT score of 19. Applicants are also required to apply for the Houston Livestock Show Area Go Texan Scholarship.

Along with their application, each applicant must also submit:

- a copy of the confirmation from HLSR when you submit your application

- official transcript

- copy of your ACT/SAT scores

GIDEON LINCECUM CHAPTER TEXAS MASTER NATURALIST SCHOLARSHIP

Deadline: January 31, 2022

Eligible Applicants: Applicants must be active 4-H and/or FFA members in good standing and attend an institution of higher education (university, college, or technical school) beginning Fall 2022.

SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS COW-CALF CLINIC (SCTCCC) SCHOLARSHIP

Deadline: January 31, 2022

Eligible Applicants: Applicants must be active 4-H and/or FFA members in good standing and attend an institution of higher education (university, college, or technical school) beginning Fall 2022.

SEALY GARDEN CLUB SCHOLARSHIP

Deadline: February 28, 2022

Eligible Applicants: Sealy High School seniors. There will be preferential consideration given to students planning to major in plant science.

WILLIE AND REGINA JEZ MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Deadline: April 1, 2022

Eligible Applicants: graduating high school seniors entering into the study of medical sciences, education, or agriculture

FRIENDS OF THE RIVER SCHOLARSHIP

Deadline: April 15, 2022

Eligible Applicants: graduating high school seniors whose career goals would result in a positive impact on the environment

AUSTIN COUNTY RETIRED TEACHERS' ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP

Deadline: April 18, 2022

Eligible Applicants: high school seniors residing in Austin County who will be pursuing a career in teaching.

Amount: $500 minimum

AUSTIN COUNTY FARM BUREAU SCHOLARSHIP

Deadline: April 29, 2022

Eligible Applicants: high school seniors graduating from an Austin County school whose parents are members of Austin County Farm Bureau by May 1, 2021.

WILLIAM AND LOMA HOBSON ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP

Eligible Applicants: This scholarship is available to students that graduate from Sealy High School and have applied and enrolled to attend Texas State University. Students can complete a general application on the Bobcat Online Scholarship System (BOSS) at this link. If they have applied to Texas State and received their Net ID that is all that is needed to login and complete the application.

Award Amount: $2,000

Eligible Applicants: High school seniors who are members of 4-H or FFA.

Award Amount: $1,000-$5,000

HEB SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM FOR COMMUNITY SERVICE EXCELLENCE

Deadline: January 28, 2022

Eligible Applicants: H-E-B will award high school seniors who participated in UIL competitions in recognition of their community service and involvement in their communities. There will be 15 total winners – 5 each in music, academics, and athletics.

Award Amount: $2,000

HOUSTON LIVESTOCK SHOW 2022 AREA GO TEXAN SCHOLARSHIP

Deadline: February 1, 2022

Eligible Applicants: Graduating seniors in the top 1/3 of their class who plan to attend an accredited, not-for-profit Texas college or university. You MUST apply to this to be eligible for the Austin County Go Texan Scholarship.

Award Amount: $20,000

HOUSTON LIVESTOCK SHOW 2022 EXHIBITOR SCHOLARSHIP

Deadline: February 1, 2022

Eligible Applicants: Students must exhibit in the 2022 livestock show to be eligible.

Award Amount: $20,000

HOUSTON LIVESTOCK SHOW 2022 HILDEBRAND SCHOLARSHIP

Deadline: February 1, 2022

Eligible Applicants: Students must participate as an exhibitor in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Junior Market Lamb Show.

Award Amount: $20,000

HOUSTON LIVESTOCK SHOW 2022 MILITARY SCHOLARSHIP

Deadline: February 1, 2022

Eligible Applicants: To be eligible, an applicant must be a dependent of a service member in active duty, reserve, honorably discharged veteran or the National Guard.

Award Amount: $20,000

HOUSTON LIVESTOCK SHOW 2022 SCHOOL ART SCHOLARSHIP

Deadline: February 1, 2022

Eligible Applicants: To be eligible, an applicant must participate in the School Art program during the application year or have been selected to compete in the Quick Draw Competition during their senior academic year.

Award Amount: $20,000

TEXAS & SOUTHWESTERN CATTLE RAISERS FOUNDATION

Deadline: February 4, 2022

Eligible Applicants: The Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Foundation offers scholarships to students pursuing a degree in agriculture or an agriculture-related program. Applicants must be graduating high school seniors or college undergraduates currently enrolled or accepted at an accredited university in Texas or Oklahoma.

CJ DAVIDSON SCHOLARSHIP

Deadline: March 1, 2022

Eligible Applicants: High School Seniors who have been an active member of an affiliated chapter of FCCLA for at least one year and who plan to major in any area of Family and Consumer Sciences.
Award Amount: $18,000

TEXAS FARM BUREAU SCHOLARSHIPS

Deadline: March 1, 2022

Eligible Applicants: High School Seniors who are members of a Farm Bureau family.

ACET STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP

Deadline: March 4, 2022

Eligible Applicants: students who have, at some time in their school career, been enrolled in a compensatory education program. Compensatory Education includes programs such as Title I, Bilingual/ESL, State Compensatory Education (SCE), Migrant, and Homeless.

SUSAN HOWARD COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD

Deadline: March 31, 2022

Eligible Applicants: Texas residents between the ages of 11 and 21 who have worked on an inspiring community service project.
Award Amount: $5,000

NATIONAL FFA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Deadline: January 11, 2022

Eligible Applicants: Scholarships support FFA high school seniors and collegiate members as well as non-FFA members. Just one application is required for multiple scholarship opportunities totaling close to $2 million.

ASIAN AND PACIFIC ISLANDER AMERICAN SCHOLARSHIP

Deadline: January 26, 2022

Eligible Applicants: Applicants must be of Asian and/or Pacific Islander ethnicity as defined by the U.S. Census and have a minimum GPA of 2.7 (unweighted).

Award Amount: $20,000

THEDREAM.US NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP


Deadline: February 28, 2022

Eligible Applicants: Applicants should be highly motivated undocumented students with significant, unmet financial need who have Have DACA; TPS; or came to the country before November 1, 2016, and otherwise meet the DACA criteria.

Award Amount: up to $16,500 for an associate’s degree and $33,000 for a bachelor’s degree

HORATIO ALGER NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP

Deadline: March 15, 2022

Eligible Applicants: high school JUNIORS who plan to pursue a college degree and who can demonstrate critical financial need ($55,000 or lower adjusted gross family income is required).
