PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
We have successfully wrapped up the second of week managing absences, quarantines, zoom sessions, contact tracing, etc., all due to the Omicron variant! Thank you all for your willingness to adjust to changes and "go with the flow" as we pull through this challenging time!
If your child opted in for Shield Testing, they were assigned a QR code. The QR code has been printed on a label, affixed to an index card and distributed to students as they arrived to test on Wednesday. The test monitors ask each child to bring the index card with them to the testing table each time your child tests. This expedites the process at the test tables.
Today is the last day of Lincoln's 2nd Quarter. Parents will be able to access report cards via the PowerSchool parent portal next Friday, January 21. To be ready for the start of 3rd Quarter on Tuesday, January 18, remind your child to check their schedules for any changes, particularly Broad Experience.
On Monday we observe Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and school is not in session. I hope your family enjoys a restful and healthy long weekend!
Paul Suminski
"You will change your mind; You will change your looks; You will change your smile, laugh, and ways, but no matter what you change, you will always be you." ~Martin Luther King, Jr.~

SPECTATOR GUIDELINES FOR LINCOLN ATHLETIC EVENTS
The following guidelines are in place so that families can attend athletics events at Lincoln:
- All spectators are to be masked for the duration of their time in the building.
- Only family members of players/performers will be admitted as spectators.
- There is no "student section."
- Siblings of athletes must sit with their parents.
- Due to limited capacity in our stands, we want to prioritize our limited space for families of athletes.
- This policy is consistent with all schools in the MSMSAC athletic conference.
Adherence to these guidelines is mandatory so that Lincoln can participate in and host athletic events as a member of the Mid-Suburban Middle School Athletic Conference during the Covid-19 pandemic. Thank you for your cooperation.
