School Attendance is Important!
The law requires children to be in school on a daily basis. To be successful at Keefe Tech, it is imperative that students attend school each day, as it is a vital part of our educational program.
Unless ill, all students are expected to be in school. In the event of an absence, parents are to call the school at 508-416-2259. Any loss of time from school is to be avoided.
Parents and students should guard against all unnecessary absences. If a student is absent, it is his/her responsibility to go to each subject teacher immediately upon return and make arrangements to make up any work missed. We ask that parents/guardians pay attention to the school calendar and not plan vacations or doctor/dentist appointments during school hours. If appointments are unavoidable during school time, students should make every effort to get to school for part of the day.
Please note, a member of our attendance team will be reaching out if students are not in compliance with the attendance policy or if patterns of poor attendance exist. In excessive cases, we will be making visits to homes.

Boosters Club seeking new members!
Welcome Ms. Swasey - Director of Curriculum and Instruction
Ms. Swasey joins us as our new Academic Assistant Principal. Ms. Swasey graduated from UMass Dartmouth with a degree in English and holds a master’s degree from Worcester State University in School Leadership and Administration. She spent her career at Blackstone Valley Tech, first as an English teacher, as the Lead Teacher for the English Department, and for the past 8 years, as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction.
We asked Ms. Swasey to share some fun things about herself and what she is looking forward to this year. Here is what she had to say!
I spend most of my free time now watching my sons compete in both hockey and karate and wouldn't change it for the world. One of favorite vacation memories was traveling to Key West, FLA to visit the home of one of my favorite authors, Ernest Hemingway. Before becoming a teacher, I went to college to become a nurse.
I am beyond thrilled to be here at Keefe. I have been so impressed with the students and staff. I look forward to spending time learning more about the school and all that the students have to offer!
Ms. Cassullo's Grade 9 freshmen doing some team building. Great confidence booster to start the school year off right!
These upperclassmen are putting the “f-u-n” in solving functions with Ms. Anniballi!
Nothing but two thumbs up for Social Studies today with Mr. Fulham!

Keefe Tech is off to a great start this fall sports season. We presently have eight sports to choose from and it's never too late to sign up! We offer football, boys and girls soccer, girls volleyball, boys and girls cross country, golf, and cheerleading.
The football team lost its home opener 36 - 34 but what a game it was. The boys varsity soccer team is the Colonial Athletic League's defending champs so we're hoping they continue their winning tradition. We have over fifty girls playing volleyball this season and we offer a full freshmen, junior varsity, and varsity team. They are on a roll and have not lost a game this season. It's still early but we are hoping the winning streak continues all season long! Record number of students are participating in girls soccer and cross county this fall as well and we wish them well as games are underway.
