- Thank you for being patience with the students!
- Thank you for giving students opportunities to share their perspective of the event(s).
- Remember to have all conversations about children, parents, and staff members in a confidential environment (i.e. behind closed doors).
- Thank you for not engaging in conversations about students If you do not have an educational interest in the student!
- Get input from students about reasonable consequences
- If you are using recess as a discipline, are you using recess along with physical activity? Are the students still allowed to MOVE?
Thank you for approaching all things with a student-centered lens!

- Progress report grades need to be entered February 24-27. Shelly will post on the 29th.
- February 28 - STAAR Training - All staff (Teachers and Paras) must be present. Bring a blue or black pen with you!
- March 1 - Tonya will meet with 4th and 5th grade teachers during their planning time for individual grade level specific training. Other test administrators will be trained at a later date once individual and small groups have been determined.
- March 9 - TELPAS Reading test for LEP students (2nd - 4th grade)
- The 2017 Retiree Dinner will be held the evening of Thursday, May 4, 2017, at the Courtyard Dallas DFW Airport North/Grapevine, 2200 Bass Pro Dr, Grapevine, TX 76051.
