A Look Ahead
January 31st to February 6th, 2016
In taking a look at Winter MAP data, there are celebrations as it relates specifically to Hadfield's SLO, 100% of all students will meet their percent of growth target in reading and math by Spring 2016. This celebration shared by all of us as we work to promote a positive learning environment that supports a growth mindset (TOA-5) and academic achievement. Winter MAP testing provided a formative dipstick in how students are responding to instruction.
In grade level PLCs this week make a copy of the following document: ASW Tool Template-MAP. You will be using this document to analyze and set goals for your students for both Math and Reading, with the ultimate goal of students meeting/exceeding their target in math and reading when students will take MAP tests in April 2016.
Please upload to the appropriate grade level folder. Please label your file (Example: Math ASW Winter 2016 Kindergarten). As a team, you will create one document for Reading and one for Math. This document will help guide your work the next 10 weeks before Spring MAP testing. Thanks for completing this work as a collaborative grade level PLC team.
Monday, February 1st: Reading ASW
Tuesday, February 2nd, 2016: Math ASW
Friday, February 5th, 2016: Finalize ASW templates and upload to the folder.Post 1 celebration and 1 action step based on the analysis of your grade level Winter MAP data the wall in the Collaboration Zone..
Upload the completed form into this folder Analyzing Student Work (ASW) (within folder Hadfield PLC notes folder) Bob, Marisa, Michelle and Paula will visit PLCs this week to support the process and answer questions.
Have a great week!
SDW Science Survey
K-12 Science Coordinator
The School District of Waukesha is committed to providing high-quality science education to all students. We ask that each teacher of science complete this survey so that we can best meet the needs of all students. This survey is completely anonymous and is non evaluative. The goal of this survey is to determine our current state of science in our district so that we can make more educated decisions in our upcoming work.
Your answers will give insight to the ways we can best instruct and build our curriculum, so your time is greatly appreciated.

Hadfield Science teachers,
Please take a few minutes to have all students at your grade level complete the survey below.
Please take this survey to tell us a little about how you learn science at school. It is important that you take this seriously and answer honestly so that we can work hard to make your school day the best possible for you! This survey is anonymous, which means no one will know how you answer, even your teacher. We are very thankful that you are taking the time to help us learn more about your school day.
