Japanese Internment Camps
The truth behind the propaganda.
The camps were often advertised as beautiful and luxurious but in truth they were a bunch of peopled crammed into small spaces. They couldn't enjoy the "spectacular sierras" because they were living in such awful conditions.
The people in camps were often publicised as happy people because they're voluntarily leaving everything behind for the sake of the country. But in truth the people were longing for home and were losing themselves in the harsh conditions of the desert.
