A Message from Mr. Finkle!
At the Teen Arts reception at the Smithville Mansion last Saturday, three Delran High School students were honored. Gianni Marchunt's and J'son Robinson's art pieces were selected to compete in the State Teen Arts at Ocean County. Chris Francis's art piece was one of only four from the entire gallery to be selected to be in the traveling showcase and will be featured in galleries all over New Jersey. Congratulations Gianni, J'son and Chris! Posted below are their artwork for your enjoyment.

2018 Summer Reading List
In an effort to continue to encourage reading over the summer, we have again created a list of top-rated reading choices with the help of our student body. Students at Delran High School will be able to read a book of their choice over the summer. View this presentation for information about the reading choices. Included you will find plot descriptions, grade-level recommendations and parental information.
After consulting with their parents, students should choose their top 3 choices of books to read this summer. After all students have chosen, students will be notified which of their choices they will read this summer. Each student is only responsible for reading one book.
A school wide culminating assessment will follow at the beginning of the 2018-2019 school year.

Alumni Walk
We are paving the way to celebrate Bear Pride! The Advisors from the Class of 2017 are working on their inlay design. We are very hopeful this year’s Senior Class will buy a brick and cast their permanent legacy on DHS. It looks like we have established a new tradition of not only allowing a platform for individuals, but also each graduating class as a whole, to leave their mark. Please consider purchasing a brick in order to pave the entire walkway. The link for purchasing a brick is below. We would also like to acknowledge the work of Best Cut Lawn-care and Landscaping for installing our bricks. They have donated their time and talents to DHS and provided their work free of charge. Thanks you Phil Velo and Best Cut. Click HERE for more information.
