TWHS Orchestra Newsletter
April/May
However, before we are done with the year, we have our first in person concert of the year. It is incredible to me that our Night at the Movies Concert will be the first time we have performed for a live audience in 18 months. I am so excited that we get to end the year by returning to the stage.
Now as Always please read the entirety of the newsletter as there is a substantial amount of information contained in it.

PARENTS WE NEED YOUR HELP
Parents as we start making plans for next year, we really need your help. We have several open positions on our booster board, and also need people to help with specific events and activities.
The Booster Club helps both TWHS and McC Orchestras by providing support and staffing for concerts, events, managing finances, fundraising and more. If you’re interested in joining our Booster Club next year, please fill out this short survey on your areas of interest.
Buy a Note - Orchestra Scholarship Drive
Buy a Note - Orchestra Scholarship Drive
Each year the booster club awards scholarships to seniors in the Orchestra program. All seniors are eligible to apply. We need your help to continue this tradition by contributing to our fundraiser. Our goal is to raise $6000.
Instead of asking you to sell items, we're asking you to Buy a Note.
All donations are welcome.
Donors over $100 will be included in our recognition for final concert.
Donors over $500 will have a personal video dedication by Chamber Orchestra.
For easy tracking, we prefer Venmo: @Twhs-Treasurer

Hello senior parents,
With graduation just around the corner, and considering all the obstacles we have had his year, we are trying to make the final months in orchestra as normal as can be.
To complete a senior slide show for the upcoming banquet in May, I am going to need baby pictures along with 3-4 orchestra pictures of your senior. (Total of about 5-6 pictures)
Please email me 5-6 pictures (jpeg format) of your child. Include 1-2 baby pictures and several more recent “orchestra” photos. These can be school pictures, pictures with their instrument, etc. Please include their name in the subject line. Please also include a graduation/senior picture and where they are going to school.
I need these by April 19th so your child can be included. If I do not get them by the deadline, they will not be included. Email them to shieldnstar5@msn.com.
If you have any questions, please reach out to me.
Thanks,
Arlene Failde- Booster Club President
