NEW......fall sports registration deadline July 19th
DEADLINE CHANGE TO FALL SPORT REGISTRATIONS
CYO FALL SPORT REGISTRATIONS ARE OPEN
This year CYO is requiring any student wishing to participate in a "Fall" sport must register by July 19, 2019. These Fall sports include:
- grade school football (3rd-8th)
- grade school cross country (via St. Jude)
- girls grade school basketball (4th-8th)
- girls grade school kickball (3rd-8th) and
- boys & girls high school volleyball (9th - 12th)
- cadet cheerleading (7th-8th)
CYO has also backed up the start schedules for these sports in an effort to not overlap other sports and to attempt to schedule around fall breaks.
Please follow the instructions below to register your son or daughter for a fall sport.

Cross Country Registration for girls and boys grades 3-8 is officially open. The information below is provided to us from St. Jude. If you have any questions related to Cross Country please follow the link below.

Follow the instructions on the CYO website on how to set your student up with a second school option. The school code for St. Jude is 189SJS-IN.

In years past, Holy Name has directly engaged a team in the above sports. However at times we may partner with another Parish/School teams if we are unable to meet the participation requirements at HN. This way we ensure that our members can compete in a chosen CYO sport. As we approach enrollment dates for these sports, we will update you on how you can register for these sports.

that Holy Name supports High School CYO Teams? If you have an interest in playing Volleyball or Basketball at a high school level, then you can sign up to play on Holy Name's CYO team. Watch the newsletters for more information.
Note from CYO: Due to the growing popularity of Boys High School Volleyball in the State of Indiana, beginning in September, 2019 the CYO will host a Boys High School Volleyball league in conjunction with the current CYO Girls High School Volleyball League.
Please know that the CYO guidelines must be followed. All participants must play for their parish of registration.

Holy Name participates in the Archdiocese of Indianapolis Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) athletics. This program guides our children in their development of Christian values such as fair play, good sportsmanship, team work, honesty, respect, tolerance, gratitude and humility.
Our youth develop the values and character of Christ while participating in our sports offerings. CYO creates many of our sports schedules, manages player/coach participation requirements and sources locations and referees for our competitions. This newsletter is provided to you via the Holy Name Athletic Commission and is intended to be your resource for all things sports at Holy Name. CYO sports are open to any athlete who are either enrolled in Holy Name Catholic School and/or who resides in a household that is a registered and participating parishioner of Holy Name Catholic Church.
