Imbler FBLA Chapter
Attention FBLA Members!
Also, be thinking about what events you would like to compete in at regionals this year. If you have any further questions, see an FBLA officer or Mrs. Teeter.
This link shows all events that can be competed in, so it gives you a better understanding at what you may like.
Veterans Day!
Although we could not have our traditional Veterans Day Assembly due to the current restrictions and guidelines, the FBLA chapter worked together to come up with a new plan. We still wanted to celebrate that day, and appreciate all Veterans. So rather than having an assembly, FBLA handed out cinnamon rolls to the Veterans in the community!
Our FBLA Officer Team held a “drive- thru” at the school, and handed out individually wrapped cinnamon rolls and thank you cards to veterans and their families. The cinnamon rolls were baked by the Imbler kitchen staff, with help from FBLA members. Fifty of these cinnamon rolls were handed out between 8 and 10 AM at the school on Veterans Day. An additional thirty cinnamon rolls were donated to Grande Ronde Retirement Residence for all the veterans that live there. We want to give a huge thanks to the kitchen staff for helping with the cinnamon rolls, the administration for allowing us to have this drive thru, and of course all Veterans who have served our country. Although this year looked different, finding ways to celebrate was definitely an accomplishment.
Christmas Giving Project!
Our local FFA and FBLA chapters are working to put together the Annual Christmas Giving Project. We have connected with the Union County Care Coordinator, and they are partnering with us to help give families in need, a Merry Christmas! With restrictions and current guidelines, we are not able to set up our Giving Tree with gift items to purchase. Instead we would greatly appreciate cash donations for our chapters to be able to purchase Christmas Gifts and a Christmas Meal Box for each family. The two lists below shows all items that you can donate.
