Animal Trainer
We can train almost any animal
We train zoo animals to allow veterinary examinations, search and rescue dogs, we train police horses to not get spooked at loud noises, and we train guide dogs so blind and deaf can live independently.
Some hiring companies
1) Sea World
To be able to work at sea world you need a collage degree. You also need to be able to work with big animals. Other locations do not require a collage degree.
2) U.S. Army Veterinary Corps.
You can work here even if you are not out of school, you may qualify for the scholarship program. You need to be able to work with small or/and big animals.
3) Walt Disney Studios
For this job all you need to do is fill out a job application and have one year of experience with animals.
Facts
- Trainers need to have at least a high school diploma or a GED
- Trainers make about 25,770 a year ( below U.S. average)
- Trainer MUST be Patient, calm, sensitive, excellent at observing and problem-solving, be in good physical and mental health, and be great with animals!
