Mrs. Johnson's and Mrs. Lawlor's Kindergarten Class

We are learning...

Reading and Language Arts: We are reading books daily: There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Bell by Lucille Colandro, Llama, Llama, Holiday Drama by Anna Dewdney, and The Best Christmas Present Ever! by Jim Razzi. We practiced sequencing events from the stories and played some fun online games. Check out these links: (There Was an Old Lady... read aloud) (Llama, Llama... games) (Holiday games)

We made a graph about what we think the best Christmas present would be...and the best present winner was...of course toys!

Math: We have had some holiday fun this week! Our math lessons had holiday themes. We made some graphs, and played some games too! We practiced ordinal numbers, teen numbers, and graphs.

Social Studies and Science: We have enjoyed learning about everyone's holiday traditions. We hope everyone enjoys being with their families during the break!
