3rd Grade Dream Big Newsletter

April 4, 2014

What we are learning...

Math: This week we finished up our 2-D Shapes Unit and began to discover fractions.

ELA: We have worked on pulling out the main idea and key details from non-fiction text. This will lead us into working more with comparing and contrast different text with a focus of the main idea.

Selling: Our spelling focus this week was contractions (would've, won't, wouldn't etc.)

MAP Test Review: We have also spent some time reviewing some of the skills we have learned throughout this school year. We are focused and ready to rock the MAP test, beginning on April 15th. Look for a note from your student's teacher with some special surprises they have in store and need your help with!
