Adventuruous and brave, brillinatly written and beautifully illustrated, this is the latest in a long list of Kate's amazing books. Highly recommended!!

Our next food drive at Petaluma Market will be Saturday, Novemer 20!
10:00am - 4:00pm
Please come by and support the students’ efforts.
Middle school students at Mary Collins School at Cherry Valley have taken on a new challenge this year. Community support has always been an important aspect at MCCV but has taken on more importance in the middle school this year. Students are participating in food drives for Food for Thought. Food For Thought is an organization that provides healthy food and groceries to Sonoma County residents with serious or long-term medical conditions.
On the 3rd Saturday of each month, students are in front of Petaluma Market, encouraging customers to buy a few extra things for Food for Thought’s food bank. Of course, cash is also accepted. There are two student volunteers for each hour, working shifts from 10:00am-4:00pm.
Giving Tuesday - 11/30/21
Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past nine years, it has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
Your contributions to Friends of Cherry Valley Library are greatly appreciated! We use your donations to help pay part of our librarian’s salary, we buy books, supplies and equipment, keep two color printers working and available to our school community, manage a cart of Chromebooks, and help fund our summer reading program. We no longer receive state or school district funding for library books, supplies, or equipment. The donations received during #GIVING TUESDAY will help keep our shelves full of new books and our library doors open for the whole school day.
