We Put On the Ritz!

Last Friday's auction was a great night of fun and support for our school, and we thank all who donated items, volunteered to help, and attended and purchased items that evening. We are working on the final tally now, and will let everyone know the results of the evening. The funds from the auction are used for programs or school needs outside of the regular operating budget, which over the years has supported the technology program, specialty programs, classroom and library books, playground....it's a long list! Thank you all for your generous and loving support.

Teacher Appreciation Week- May 4-8

Next week is a special week to celebrate our wonderful teachers, and thank them for the encouragement and guidance they lovingly give every day! There will be a display area in the main hall with envelopes to put your cards, pictures, notes and special wishes for any of our teachers. Please take some time throughout the week to be sure every one of them is full and overflowing with thanks!

Alumni Awards

We would like to start a hallway display that highlights former Trinity students and their accomplishments. It may be academic or extracurricular recognition, special opportunities or advancements, a graduation or just setting off on a new adventure! If your family or someone you know is in high school or beyond and has news to share, please contact Mrs. Price so we can celebrate with you!
Starting off our wall are Memorial High School 9th grade students that received academic recognition this week. Their proud parents shared that all seven TLS students enrolled in the freshman MHS this year walked the stage with honors, six of them with GPAs of 3.5 to 4.0. Additionally, six of the fourteen department awards went to TLS alums, including awards in Math, Science, Business, Language Arts and Social Studies.

The Junior class awards also included TLS representatives, with five students receiving academic recognition for 3.0 and above, and four department awards as well. We will start our display with these students, and want to include the many more that we know are accomplishing great things! We look forward to sharing your success and hope it encourages our current students of the great things they will accomplish in the future too!
