NAPLS Notification System
Annual Test Will Occur Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at 6pm
Dear NAPLS Families & Staff,
With the weather changing and the increased possibility of weather related school delays and closings, the district will test our Blackboard notification system on Tuesday, November 5 at 6pm.
Parents/Guardians will receive an email, a phone call and a text notification.
It is important that parents have accurate contact information listed on the Ecollect forms* in their PowerSchool account in order to be notified in the event of an emergency, school closings/delays and other school related communications.
If you do not receive the listed notifications above on Tuesday, please follow the instructions provided below.
*Note: if you did not submit your annual Ecollect forms in PowerSchool for this school year, you are non-compliant with state law and your response is required immediately. The pin number that was emailed to you in August is required to submit your forms. You can contact your building secretary if you need to have the pin number sent again.
Reviewing Contact Information In PowerSchool
PowerSchool Parent Portal
- Login into your Parent PowerSchool account
- Click on the eCollect form icon
- Review the contact information that is listed on form #2 Parent/Guardian AND Emergency Contacts to verify that your email address and phone number are correct.
Any changes/updates of your contact information after November 1 require parents/guardians to contact the registrar's office at wc@napls.us or 614-413-7134. Please include your name, student name and the information you wish to have changed.

Select Delivery Preferences
Choose notification preferences for the following:
Emergency & Attendance requires a phone and email to be selected
Other - This includes school closing and delay notifications and most other communications.
Balance - Negative lunch balance notifications
Survey - General surveys from the schools (not in use at this time)

Click on Settings Icon
Select Configure alerts
Choose Edit Delivery Preferences
