Phases of the moon
The moon does not give off its own light. It reflects the suns light. Every month the moon changes size.
New moon,Waxing cresent, first quarter,waxing gibbos,full moon,waning gibbos,last quarter,waning cresent and back to a new moon
Solar System
There are 8 planets in the solar system. Mercury is the closest planet to the sun. Venus is the next. Then Earth where we all live. Mars the red one. Then the astriod belt that separates the small plantets [ The first four ] And the big ones also known as the gas giants. Then there is Jupiter the biggest. Sautern with the rings. Uranus the only one on its side. Neptune... Cold... Dark... Mysterious.

Mercury
Mercury is the closest planet to the sun. No human has been on it because it is too close to the sun, But satellites have flown around Mercury and have learned things about it. Mercury has no atmosphere. Mercury Is the same size as earths moon.
Venus
Venus has a poisonous atmosphere. So again no human can land on it. Venus is the hottest planet in our solar system. Venus is named after the roman god of love and beauty. It is known as earths twin because they are close to the same size.
