New Res Community Members Spotlight: Administration, Science Leadership, Student Services
Ms. Meredith Rogers: College Counselor
I grew up in the far west suburb of Geneva, IL. I graduated from the University of Colorado-Boulder and from DePaul for my Master's in Education. I've spent the last four years as a school counselor at Holy Trinity High School. I love to travel, run by the lake and take advantage of everything happening in Chicago. I think the college application process is extremely exciting. I really enjoy learning about the different opportunities provided by colleges and universities and trends in college admissions. I can't wait to help Res students pursue their dreams!

Spiritual Reflections
"On the other hand, because of its identity and its ecclesial roots, this community must aspire to becoming a Christian community, that is, a community of faith, able to create increasingly more profound relations of communion which are themselves educational. It is precisely the presence and life of an educational community, in which all the members participate in a fraternal communion, nourished by a living relationship with Christ and with the Church, that makes the Catholic school the environment for an authentically ecclesial experience."
We praise you, Father, for your gift of Hope, which is the assurance that we have gifts and strength. We pray that we are able to take that belief and use it to fuel our dreams, visions, and imagination and to reach beyond our own limitations.
We pray to the Lord, who is the life, hear our prayer.
Reminders for the Week
All faculty: The "Late Work" policy will be discussed in Academic council on 8/18. Once their feedback is integrated, it will be sent to the faculty. I understand that this needs to be included in the syllabus. My recommendation is to simply state that a policy is forthcoming and once it is in place, you may update your Schoology page with the new information.
Club moderators: Please make certain that you advertise your clubs for registration next week.
