Upcoming Dates to Remember
- Monday, August 27th: All employee Benefit Enrollment Forms due to Nadyah Arnold
- Friday, August 31st: ADVISEMENT meeting @ 2pm Eastern in Julie's office!
- Monday, September 3rd: Labor Day Holiday
- Tuesday, September 4th: Last day for new high school enrollment (students who have not already been in school this semester and would not be coming with transfer grades cannot enroll after this date)
- Tuesday, September 4th: STAFF MEETING @ 6pm Eastern in Stephanie's office (these will always be at this time on the 1st Tuesday of each month- mark your calendar!)
- September 10th: All new hires will receive 1st paycheck
- **Beginning August 28th, all adjunct teachers must submit invoices to Brenda McCullers on the 14th and 28th of the month**
STAFF SPOTLIGHT
This week we spotlight Ashley Pierce, Mercury Online teacher. Ashley teaches 2nd grade online and is our Department Chair for our online K-5 teachers. Ashley has just started her 3rd year with Mercury, and we are so excited to have her on our team:)
Teaching elementary students is her passion and nothing excites her more than to witness a student having that ‘aha’ moment. Ashley lives in Cumming, Georgia with her husband. She enjoys reading, running, and volunteering in her church pre-school program.
