Grant Gators

Principals Corner

Good Afternoon,

We had a fantastic week. We wanted to invite our students to join our Grant Staff every Wednesday to wear a KINDNESS shirt or hoodie. Here is a link to a SUPER soft T-shirt that you can order BE KIND T-shirt. Here is another company started by a mother and daughter who has ASD - Jordyn's Summer Project BE KIND. Spreading Kindness encourages random and intentional acts of kindness throughout all aspects of our community and we want everyone that enters Grant to feel safe and be KIND. Please know this is completely optional too.

Please be mindful of calling the office after 3:00 p.m. to ask our secretaries to relay a message to their child as that is a busy part of our day for teachers. Likewise, remember the same while emailing teachers after 3:00 p.m. as they are instructing until 3:55 p.m. More than likely a teacher won’t check their email until after dismissal. A quick morning email works the best for our teachers. In the event that it is an emergency then we 100% understand that so please call then.

Have a wonderful weekend!

It is also imperative that you take the time in the morning to complete the health screener prior to sending your children to school. If your child is not feeling well please err on the side of caution and keep them home for their safety and the safety of others. Click here to access the Health Screener

Please Watch and Sign Our Grant Title 1 Video Presentation

Grant Elementary is a Title 1 School. Here is a video that explains a little bit more in detail about what that means and how it benefits our students.
