2023 Spring Performance Survey
This survey focuses on teaching, learning, school operations and other connected issues. We will report on the findings of this survey after the closing of the survey. We will candidly share with you what we learned and what specific changes you can anticipate as a result of your feedback.
On Tuesday, parents received an email from ccisdresearch@ccisd.net. Each guardian (Family 1 and Family 2) received a personalized link for each student or students enrolled in CCISD. These links are unique and personalized for their student. Please complete this brief survey by Friday, April 21st.
Counseling Center Updates
Course verification for the 23-24 school year has begun. This is your student’s final opportunity to make any course changes and/or corrections for next school year. If the courses listed in Skyward are correct, there is nothing else you need to do. If you see that you need to request a change and/or correction, please click here to submit the online form. Submissions are due no later than FRIDAY, APRIL 28TH by 3:00 pm. The date and time of summer schedule preview will be forthcoming. Final schedules will be available in Skyward the first day of school. If you have any further questions, please reach out to your CCHS Counselor.

Rank One Forms
To Parents/Guardians of Athletes/Band/Cavaliers,
You can now complete your child(ren)’s Rank One Online Forms. Please complete the medical history, Emergency Information Form, Signature Page Form (UIL forms), and Texting Authorization Form before the school year ends so that our trainers have time to help process your child(ren)’s paperwork before the start of next school year.
Please remember that all 2022-2023 paperwork (including physicals) expire on June 1, 2023. If your child is attending SAC camp, they will need all their forms for the 2023-2024 year turned in prior to the first day of camp to be able to participate.

We are sold out of student parking permits for the 22-23 school year. We will no longer accept applications for new parking permits. Vehicles parked on campus without a parking permit will be ticketed, booted and/or towed at the owner’s expense. See the D100 office for parking questions.
Attendance & Absent Notes
Student attendance in every class every day is crucial to their academic success. Compulsory attendance laws require a student to attend each class at least 90 percent of the days it is offered in order to receive credit or a final grade in a class. When a student's attendance drops below 90% of the days the class is offered, the student may earn credit for the class by completing a plan approved by the principal.
As we continue to transition back to pre-COVID attendance expectations, starting Spring 2023, all absences that are not school-related business (UIL absences, field trips, approved college visits, etc.) will count toward credit appeals. The maximum number of absences a student may accumulate per course for this semester without losing credit is nine. If you have questions specific to your child's attendance, please contact their assistant principal.
If a student is absent, a parent/guardian must provide a note showing the dates and an explanation for any absence within three (3) days after the student’s arrival or return to school. If this note is not sent within the allocated three (3) days, the absence will be unexcused.
