We have a meeting coming up next week! I hope to see you all on Wednesday, November 11 and that you bring plenty of nominees!


MEMBER AWARD NOMINATIONS DUE AT THIS MEETING

Be sure to have your member award nominations ready for the meeting on Wednesday. This is when we will vote so that the applications can be submitted by the December 1 deadline. Per state committee policy, there are no exceptions to this deadline.


Only CTAT members (paid) are eligible for these awards. I have also shared the list of paid members. Upon completion of the election, I will submit the completed applications to the state CTAT office.


GUIDELINES

Please carefully review the guidelines to ensure you are nominating a qualified candidate in the correct category. See the linked documents for more details.

CTAT/ACTE Career Guidance Award - for members employed as full-time school counselors and/or career development professionals. Nominations are limited to no more than two per area. Guidelines

CTAT/ACTE Administrator of the Year - for members employed as full-time CTE administrators, program specialists, coordinators, and all other CTE personnel and staff (not employed as teachers or guidance professionals). Nominations are limited to no more than one per area. Guidelines

CTAT/ACTE Teacher of the Year - (minimum of 5 years of teaching experience) this award recognizes the finest career and technical teachers at the middle/secondary school level who have demonstrated innovation in the classroom, commitment to their students and dedication to the improvement of CTE in their institutions and communities. Nominations are limited to no more than two per area. Guidelines

CTAT/ACTE New Teacher of the Year - (3-5 years of teaching experience) this award recognizes new CTE teachers who have made significant contributions toward innovative and unique career and technical education programs and shown a professional commitment early in their careers. Nominations are limited to no more than two per area. Guidelines
