October 1 - October 7
Overtime Starts MONDAY!
As a reminder, Overtime is a support for students not getting work turned in by the due date. Teachers communicate with the students in a three-strike system giving opportunities for students to complete the work even after the due date. ParentSquare communication will be sent to parents when a student is assigned Overtime. Students will attend Overtime for the first 20 minutes of the lunch period allowing time to complete work and still have time to eat lunch. Students will continue to attend Overtime until the assigned work is completed.
Overtime is initially being implemented in English Language Arts, Math, Social Sciences, Science and BPA classes. We encourage parents to talk to their student(s) about their assignments, projects and assessments and use their Summit Learning Parent access to help track their student(s)'s progress.
Wildcat Intervention begins October 10
Wildcat Intervention in an after-school program for students needing to complete current class work of projects, PFAs, and assessments. Teachers and staff will be available to help students with their work during this time.
Juniors & seniors needing credit completion (past credit recovery) in Math, ELA, Science, History, BCA or Speech to be on-track for graduation can also attend. These students need to meet with their counselor to build a plan.
Wildcat Intervention is Tuesdays/Thursdays after school from 3-4:30p beginning Tuesday, October 10. Currently, transportation will NOT be available.
